QR Code Attendance

Encrypted contactless check-ins — scan, sign, done

Use QR code attendance to collect contactless check-ins at events, classes, and meetings. Generate an encrypted QR code, share it, and watch sign-ins arrive in real time — no app downloads, no accounts, no paperwork.

Every QR attendance session is protected with end-to-end encryption. Attendee data is encrypted on their device before transmission, and all data is permanently deleted within 24 hours. It's the most private way to take attendance.

How QR Code Attendance Works

Step 1

Create & Configure

Set up your attendance sheet with the fields you need — name, email, signature, custom fields. Takes under a minute.

Step 2

Generate Encrypted QR Code

Your QR code is generated with end-to-end encryption. It contains a secure token validated with PBKDF2-SHA256 (100,000 iterations).

Step 3

Share & Display

Print the QR code, email it, project it on a screen, or set up kiosk mode. Attendees scan with any phone camera — no app needed.

Step 4

Collect & Export

Watch encrypted sign-ins arrive in real time. Export to PDF (with signatures) or Excel. Data auto-deletes after 24 hours.

QR Attendance Security

Every QR check-in is protected with end-to-end encryption and privacy controls.

RSA-OAEP + AES-GCM Encryption

Every QR attendance session uses hybrid encryption. Attendee data is encrypted on their device before it ever reaches the server.

Zero-Knowledge Architecture

We cannot read your attendance data. The private decryption key stays in your browser and is never transmitted.

24-Hour Auto-Delete

All QR attendance data — encrypted submissions, session tokens, and metadata — is permanently deleted within 24 hours.

PBKDF2 Token Validation

QR tokens are validated with 100,000 PBKDF2-SHA256 iterations and expire after 2 hours to prevent replay attacks.

Cloudflare Turnstile Protection

Bot protection on every QR submission prevents automated abuse without annoying CAPTCHA puzzles for real attendees.

Kiosk Mode Security

Kiosk mode auto-clears between sign-ins so shared devices stay secure. No data leaks between attendees.

QR Code Attendance Use Cases

From classrooms to conferences — contactless QR check-ins for every scenario.

Conference Check-Ins

Display a QR code at registration desks or project it on screens for fast, contactless check-in at large events.

Classroom Attendance

Show the QR code on a projector at the start of class. Students scan and sign in from their seats in seconds.

Corporate Meetings

Email the QR code with meeting invites. Attendees scan on arrival — instant digital sign-in sheet with signatures.

Church & Community Groups

Print QR codes for Sunday services or community events. Contactless sign-in respects privacy and keeps things moving.

QR Code Attendance FAQ

How do QR code attendance check-ins work?

You create an attendance sheet and generate an encrypted QR code. Attendees scan the QR code with their phone camera (no app needed), which opens a secure web form. They enter their details and optionally sign. Submissions are encrypted on the attendee's device and sent to your real-time dashboard.

Is the QR code encrypted?

Yes. The QR code contains an encrypted token validated with PBKDF2-SHA256 (100,000 iterations). Attendee submissions are encrypted with RSA-OAEP + AES-GCM before leaving their device. The decryption key stays in your browser.

Do attendees need to install an app?

No. Attendees simply scan the QR code with their phone's built-in camera. It opens a mobile-friendly web form in their browser — no downloads, no app store, no friction.

Can I display the QR code on a projector or screen?

Yes. You can project it, print it, email it, embed it in slides, or use the built-in kiosk mode to display it on a dedicated tablet or laptop.

How long does the QR code stay active?

QR attendance tokens are valid for up to 2 hours from generation. The entire attendance sheet and all data auto-deletes within 24 hours. You can also end the session early at any time.
